There is no better rush than skiing down a mountain of fresh snow. For all enthusiasts of winter sports, we've compiled a list of resorts in the U.S. to satisfy your craving for speed:

Breckinridge, Colorado

One of the best known ski resorts in Colorado, Breckinridge totals of 2,358 hectares and has 155 routes. Its longest trail, four O-clock, reaches a length of 3.5 kilometers and extends through the center for more than 10 peaks. Of the 155 trails this resort is home, 36 percent are expert slopes, the highest percentage of slope difficulty, and 13 percent of the tracks are the easiest way of appointment.

Aspen, Colorado

Located amidst the Rocky Mountains, Aspen, Colorado, is the Mountain Ski Resort Aspen. Aspen Mountain is located in 673 acres and is one of the smaller ski resorts around. Use Aspen Mountain and Bell Mountain which has a height of 11,212 feet.

Killington, Vermont

This ski resort is the largest resort in the eastern United States. Using the second highest mountain in Vermont, Killington Peak, the sport resort, 200 routes and 33 lifts lasted over seven mountains. It is estimated that about 17,000 people will visit Killington Ski Resort on a good day.

Park City, Utah

This destination is home to three different ski resorts, Park City Mountain Resort, the Canyons and Deer Valley resort Resort. Park City Mountain Resort encompasses 3,300 hectares and has 104 routes. Canyons Resort is the largest of the three, with nine races in the mountains, 155 trails and covers 3,700 hectares. Deer Valley Resort recently underwent a renovation of nine million dollars to add 200 acres and nine new tracks

Lake Tahoe, Nevada / Lake Tahoe in California

Located on the border of Nevada and California is home to Heavenly Mountain Resort. It has 95 trails over 4,800 acres. At an altitude of 10,067, this complex houses the highest peak of Lake Tahoe. It is the largest ski resort in California, with a total of 33 percent of developed land.

Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania

The Pocono Mountains is home to more than ten different ski resorts. The largest, Camelback Ski Area, has 33 slopes and covers 139 acres. At an altitude of 2,133 meters, the most outstanding is 800 feet. The Jack Frost Big Resort is located near the Camelback ski resort. This ski area is two seasons combined into one with about 30 different tracks.
